If you’re feeling nervous about anesthesia, you’re not alone. Our role is to keep you safe, comfortable, and informed—before, during, and after your procedure. Below you’ll find clear information on what to expect, how to prepare, and where to go if you have questions about recovery or billing.

Our goal is to help you feel confident, prepared, and cared for. Before your procedure, your anesthesia team will review your health history and coordinate with your surgeon to tailor a plan that fits your needs
As your procedure begins, your anesthesia provider will be with you the entire time—monitoring you continuously and adjusting your care as needed.
After your procedure, you’ll move to the recovery area where nurses and your anesthesia team will continue to monitor and support you.
You may receive a separate bill for anesthesia services rendered. Federal law protects you from unexpected medical bills in specific situations and gives self-pay patients clear cost estimates and dispute options.
Many patients have the same concerns—like fasting, medications, nausea, or what recovery feels like. We’ve answered the most common questions in one place.
