What Coachella Valley Anesthesia Does
Coachella Valley Anesthesia (CVA) is a physician-led anesthesia management and provider services company. CVA contracts with healthcare facilities to provide, manage, and retain qualified anesthesia teams including certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) and MD anesthesiologists.
CVA serves hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, physician office practices, and dental offices. CVA's clinical capabilities include general anesthesia, fellowship-trained pediatric and cardiac anesthesia, OB anesthesia, and office-based anesthesia.
CVA currently operates in Palm Springs, Indio, Bakersfield, Victorville, Merced, and Oklahoma City, with continued expansion into additional markets.

The premise is straightforward. When healthcare facilities have consistent, familiar anesthesia providers, surgical teams develop trust and efficiency. When surgical teams develop trust and efficiency, patient experiences improve and OR operations run better.

CVA's leadership team has designed the organization around these conditions because they have worked inside practices where these conditions were absent, and they understand the cost.
Dr. Arun Thunga founded CVA as a physician-led alternative to national platforms that prioritize contract volume over clinical culture. CVA is structured to grow without losing the responsiveness and accountability that makes the practice worth working with.
