Anesthesia Provider Staffing
Anesthesia Staffing and Coverage for Healthcare Facilities
CVA provides qualified, credentialed anesthesia providers — CRNAs and/or MD/DO anesthesiologists — for healthcare facilities, from scheduled full-time coverage to per diem gap fills. Physician-led staffing with a retention-first culture.
Credentialed. Physician-supervised where required. Retained across all CVA markets.

The Provider Role
CRNAs and MD/DO Anesthesiologists for Healthcare Facilities
CVA staffs both certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) and MD/DO anesthesiologists depending on facility needs, care team model, and payer requirements. CRNAs are qualified to independently administer anesthesia across a wide range of surgical and procedural cases, and they work under the direction of a physician anesthesiologist in care team models.
MD/DO anesthesiologists provide physician-level clinical oversight, subspecialty capabilities, and are essential for facilities requiring physician-directed care team models or higher-acuity service lines.
CVA employs and contracts both provider types across its markets and can tailor staffing models to match each facility's specific needs.
CVA Anesthesia Staffing Options for Healthcare Facilities
Full-Time and Part-Time Coverage
CVA can staff CRNAs and/or MD/DO anesthesiologists on full-time or part-time coverage arrangements for facilities with consistent, recurring anesthesia volume.
Per Diem and Gap Fill Coverage
CVA maintains a network of qualified providers available for scheduled gap fills, short-notice coverage, and per diem assignments across contracted healthcare settings.
Long-Term Staffing Commitments
For facilities building or expanding anesthesia programs, CVA can structure long-term staffing agreements — CRNAs and/or MD/DO anesthesiologists — that provide predictable coverage and reduce administrative burden.
Credentialing and Compliance
CVA manages provider credentialing at contracted facilities and maintains current licensure, certification, and malpractice documentation for all placed clinicians.
